Training & Pool Sessions

Training

If you’re new to kayaking or canoe polo we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

We have a structured training programme where we’ll take you from complete beginner to a well rounded kayaker. You will learn everything from how to manoeuvre your kayak all the way through to more advanced skills like stern dips and rolling.

We’ll also teach you everything you need to know about Canoe Polo including rules, tactics and game play, and if you’re interested we have coach training opportunities available.

If you’re interested in other canoe disciplines such as Whitewater kayaking, we are friends with Tawe Kayak Club with many of our instructors and members participating in both Canoe Polo, Whitewater kayaking and other disciplines including Sea Kayaking, Slalom and Surf.

During the winter months we train indoors at Penlan Leisure Centre and Pontardawe Swimming Pool.
